Last Night at the Outpost

It's our last night at the outpost lodge already!
We've done so much these past few days... we've visited all of our schools, the kids were so welcoming! We've seen all of our accommodation (which is all a lot nicer than we expected but still obviously quite basic) and we've met lots of teachers and their families and Madeline's family and friends, everyone is so welcoming it's amazing :)

Allan, an English teacher at my secondary school Enaboishu, has been teaching us all useful swahili phrases, such as how to get a bus/taxi, how to buy food, etc so that's been really helpful

We've also socialised in Arusha and at the "Greek Club" a local "western" bar which seems really homely which is nice if we were wanting to escape for a while!

I've also bought a new phone and sim card, my tanz number is +255783143790 my phone is a very old motorola with a blue backlight and the most retro ringtones ever, i love it though!

Good news also is that Madeline goes to an english speaking international church every sunday so me and Becky plus a few others possibly are going to go next sunday (this sunday we are food shopping), it's really good to have other Christians in the group :)

We move into our schools and houses tomorrow which is really scary, we'll have to cook for ourselves everyday and basically live life as an African! I'll keep you all updated on how that goes ;)
